- Submerged vessel (uncharted) reported to be at 48 degrees 37.136’N - 123 degrees 00.401’W
- 7 MPH speed limit between Pole Pass and Bell Island - frequently enforced by local law enforcement due to the narrow safety zone of the channel.
- SJ Island Hop vessels are prohibited from using Pole Pass. Passage around Crane Island must always be made to the south of Crane.
